- SCStephen CobbMar 13, 20261.0Someone at the Lorain office is a thief. Yesterday postman dropped a package at my neighbor's house. My neighbor saw it on his ring camera called me instantly to go pick it up before a porch pirate stole it. I go grab it and it's empty because it's already been ripped up and then taped back together. They stole a tablet for his son. My neighbor takes the box up there they say that there's nothing they can do because it was signed for. Well here comes the importance of having cameras looks like it was signed for by the mailman. If anyone says it was signed for when he went off camera, then why did he proceed to put the mail in the box before he walked down the stairs. Why not just give the mail to the person who signed for it. Get cameras people and definitely don't trust the Post office
- DHDawn HirakisFeb 13, 20261.0Currently waiting on a package that was marked as undeliverable yesterday due to no access to my front door.I physically went to the office and showed them a picture of my very clear porch and walkway and was then told it was due to animal interference.There are no animals here that could interfere with delivery unless my cat glared at them through the window and scared them that badly as my dogs only have freedom to roam in my fenced in Back yard which they weren't even out and my neighbors have no animals.Hopefully my package will be delivered today as I was told it was in route and promised it would be.I get the hardships of mail carriers,but incompetence is not acceptable and neither are excuses for it.You get paid to do your job like the next guy,so do it.
