There are a lot of negative reviews, but I wanted to share this positive experience. I moved from Lakewood and had a package I was trying to prevent from being delivered to my old address. They actually did prevent the package from being delivered, and were generally pretty friendly with me over the course of events. Even let a family member pick it up for me due to my schedule. Brandon did a great job helping me out.

The worst post office ever. I'm waiting for a federal ID, my life is in limbo until it comes. I see it in my informed delivery and the day it comes there's a carrier I've never seen before. I show her my email and she smiles and me cocks her head and says. "Hmmm. Maybe you'll get it tomorrow" I'm convinced she threw my mail into one of the vacant boxes next to mine, almost convinced I can see it in there. I call the post office they say they'll send someone to check. I don't hear back. the next day in my letter doesn't come with my ID so I go up to the post office they tell me I have no mail there they tell me the woman that I saw for the first time ever delivers my mail three times a week which is just a flat out lie. They say they'll send someone to check the boxes around mine I never hear anything back. I file a missing mail report the man tells me how informed delivery is a flawed system even though it nails my mail coming 99.9% of the time. Today I'm outside and I see the maintenance man and I ask him to open the box next to mine Guess what's in my box? My ID that the original courier put in there the day said it was coming. They never send anyone to look in my box the first time they said they were they never send anyone to look in the box the second time they said they were and the woman lied to me the day my mail came smiled and knew that she was causing me to suffer and it made her happy. That's what the Lakewood post office is all about they get off on making you suffer.

The Lakewood Post Office is the worst. We do not receive our mail on a daily basis and when we do receive it mail is missing. We have even received mail for addresses that are located several streets from us. Last week there was undelivered mail laying on the sidewalk. There is a different carrier daily. The employees at the Post Office are very rude. Horrible service all around.

I went to drop off a package for my company and needed packing tape to secure my package. Not only did they not have any for customers to purchase, but they had 3 rolls out on the front counter. When I asked if I could use the packing tape for my package, I was told "those are for priority customers only". It's obserd that they couldn't accommodate the tape when there was no tape for customers to use or purchase.

Terrible service. I would expect nothing less from the government. I had 2 pieces of important mail stolen and there was nothing they can do after I waited a half hour in line. Sham
