- GGGregory Guarneri2 days ago1.0So…last week I shipped a medium size box to NC that didn’t weigh much at all. $121!! I was stuck, no time to shop it elsewhere so I angrily took the hit and sent thinking it was a one time fluke. This week I ship another SMALLER box to local NY, they tried to charge me 118$!!!!!! I quickly asked why shipping costs have gone up with fuel costs at a long time low. They didn’t even respond to me and acted very strange. Grabbed my package and left and of course went in to UPS 2 miles down the road. I simply asked for a quote to ship as I was so worried that shipping everywhere was completely unaffordable. 60$, half price to ship it!!!! I sent UPS then went home and did a FedEx online quote, weighed and measured the box myself entered it in and came back 72$. Not sure what’s going on but STAY AWAY!!! They’re scamming folks. Go 2 miles away to the Stow UPS.
