- JMJosh MarcumDec 9, 20241.0I went in to return a package that was mistakenly delivered to my house. Wanting to make sure the recipient reviewed their package only to be scolded by the woman working the counter. I was told not to bring the package into this post office as I needed to take it to the downtown location. Mind you I live in elida and downtown is 15 min away. She then proceeded to tell me that only thing she could do is send it downtown. I looked at her and said great, that is your job. I can't believe the audacity for someone whose job it is to do mail things doesn't want to do her job and gets an attitude when you stop in. If this is the type of customer service we have, then why is this location even open
- CGcarlson goodSep 23, 20231.0The hours for elida usps office state that are open on Saturday to noon but yet it seems this is not true . Went today at approximately 11.15 and closed . This happens quite often on Saturday . Fix the problem so customers know if open or closed. Our time is valuable also . I know it is under Lima therefore someone needs to wake up . Where is the postmaster on Saturday? The mail for Elida boxes also is not being delivered on Saturday. Way over due to fix this and do not use excuse of Covid as does not fly anymore . Please forward answer.
- KLKhenna LawrenceJan 3, 20231.0Around 12:45 on 1/3/23 I went into this post office to have a package sent out. I waited 20 minutes in line to be serviced and the externally rude employee working the counter decided she was done working for the day and refused to help me. I was the last one in line and was in the building 15 minutes before closing and she backed away from the counter saying they were closed and she would not help me and that I would have to come back at two. I’m sorry but someone who works just a few hours a week acting this way shouldn’t be employed if they’re not willing to stand at a counter and check the last customer out before leaving. I also had been holding my daughter for 20 minutes in line and had to leave after such a waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend going here. This isn’t the first time the workers didn’t want to simply do their job. I usually chose this post office because it is smaller but will no longer be going there. The ups store is just down the road and much better customer service! Cheaper pricing I believe as well.
