- GMGary S MayneAug 30, 20241.0Showed up to the WP Area B post office during normal posted business hours on a Friday to retrieve a package that I was depending on for the holiday weekend. Paid expedited shipping to insure I would get it in time. Window closed. No signage or prior communication of a closure that day. My work schedule rarely allows me to go during business hours when I can pick up packages. Staff at the Area A post office were polite and apologetic when I called to inquire, but was told the Area B post office was closed today because of the family day and there was nothing they could do. If I had known I would have made arrangements to come yesterday but absolutely ZERO communication. Extremely disappointed but not surprised. I should have known better. I’m pretty sure they have customers’ emails and phone numbers. Come on guys, do better.
