A month later I got concerned when I wasn’t getting it in the mail and learned that it kept saying “undeliverable” for some reason and after 3 failed attempts the BMV told me to go kick rocks. Either I purchase a new one or drive to Columbus to get it. I AM NOT driving 3 hours for a license. So I contacted the post office to figure out what was happening and almost 2 weeks later come to find out the idiot mailman had put in a request that I was moving back in January 2026. I DID NOT move and I DID NOT submit such a request. Apparently someone near me was leaving and they submitted it by mistake - no notification to me, call, email, NOTHING! As of this moment, I am not being reimbursed for my license that I DID NOT receive due to the incompetence of the USPS and I’ve been without my new debit card which was supposed to be mailed THREE WEEKS AGO. Essentially they told me to also kick rocks and I’m sure whoever made this stupid mistake is going to go on their merry way. No ownership of their mistake, no apology, NOTHING. I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED. And whatever they did, they can’t even fix in a timely manner. So in the end, they messed up and I’m the one paying for it. How unprofessional and sad is that? SIDE NOTE: I feel bad for John/Jon who works there who was doing damage control, assisting me through this process and who seemed genuinely upset for me. He is THE ONLY person that works at this location I would exclude from this review. Apologizing on behalf of this incompetent mailman and useless postmaster.
