I usually like this post office but the male employee was extremely rude. I asked if I could get some tape for my package and apparently that crossed a line to him. I asked a question about a label and I guess that was the last straw. He said he couldn't wait for the next employee to come in and I asked when does that employee start because I can have the next employee help me. He just said the next employee starts soon and added some curse words. I can't let my new year start out bad so I left. Anyway, Happy New Year!

12/05/25 sent a package less than 2 pounds, that had my elderly mother's cell phone in it I had it to change to a different carrier, it was marked hazardous because its a used phone. It is still not delivered it is at the Citygate post office in Columbus, Its now been 3 weeks and its just sitting in that building. It was supposed to be there the following Tuesday we used that phone to track my elderly mother...Im so upset by this, why is it taking so long? And reading the other reviews its got me really concerned if it will ever get to her, I will not be using the post office to send anything anymore.

The employees at this office are very rude and unhelpful, particularly the young male clerk who immediately became argumentative and condescending towards everyone that came in. I thought the passport service complaints were exaggerated but if you can make an appointment literally anywhere else I would suggest doing so. The passport acceptance clerk seemed very bothered to have to do her basic job tasks, refusing to give any directions and then becoming frustrated when the unstated directions were not complied with. This office clearly needs new management and training for all their employees.

Usually they work fast, especially if you have an expedited load. However, my experience on 12/07/25 was not acceptable. I had to wait almost 10 hours just to get unloaded, and there were trucks lined up the whole time. This kind of delay is very frustrating and needs improvement.
