My home is a newly constructed property, and the address is officially registered in the USPS system. I have received my assigned mailbox key, yet mail delivery has not been occurring because I was told the carrier could not locate my address. When I visited the post office to resolve the issue, I was advised to locate the mail carrier myself. I believe it is the responsibility of USPS to ensure that properly registered addresses are correctly assigned to delivery routes. I hope management reviews this situation and improves communication and support for residents in new developments.

First off, thank you for filling the hole right after the drive-through mailbox. I’m not just talking hole, I’m talking about a moon crater that literally will damage your car. They need to make sure they maintain that that was a big problem!!! This is a small, quiet post office, and honestly that is a big part of why I appreciate it. It has that familiar neighborhood feel where the space is not chaotic and you are not fighting a crowd just to mail something or pick up a package. It is close to my house, which makes it really convenient, and over time it has become one of those places you get used to relying on for everyday errands. The atmosphere is generally peaceful, and even when there is a line, it usually moves without the stress you sometimes get at bigger locations. Over the years there has been a noticeable change in staff for some reason, but the overall tone of the place has stayed pretty calm. If I were a postal worker, I would actually want to work here because it seems like one of the more peaceful and manageable branches. Most of my routine experiences have been positive, and when I have had issues in the past, especially around packages that went missing or got delayed, they have generally been pretty good about helping. That said, this last experience was not quite as strong. I did not feel like they put in the extra effort, and the communication was not where it should have been. I had to do more of the chasing than I expected, and the follow through felt a little lackluster. I am hoping this improves, because I really do want to see the US Postal Service live up to its mission. Lately it feels like that standard is slipping in general, but I still believe this location can be better, and I would love to see them tighten up the follow up and communication going forward.

The customer service here is outstanding. Stephanie knows most of the customers that come-in by name and is so kind and accommodating. She is always so helpful and is able to provide me with the best guidance for my shipping and mailing needs. I've never been so impressed with the kind attitude and customer service at a USPS location prior to moving to Columbia Station! As I read through some of the reviews for this post office, I see that most of them are in regards to the delivery services, not the post office itself. I cannot comprehend how anyone could have anything negative to say about this wonderful location. Customer service at its finest - one of the few places where this idea is not lost!
