I went to this USPS location today around 1:52 p.m. and was really disappointed. I got there about 8 minutes before closing with a large package to send. When I asked the clerk if I could weigh it first to see how much it would cost, she answered me very harshly. I also asked if she had some tape so I could close the box properly, and she told me I had to buy it and that I didn’t need to use it. I understand it was close to closing time, but there was no reason to be rude. A little kindness goes a long way.

I have to speak on this because I thought it was absolutely disgusting. I went to mail a card yesterday and I was going to put something inside the card but decided not to so I forgot to seal the card instead the flap was tucked inside the envelope. So the clerk a man (white guy) who was working that day asked me if I wanted him to seal the card. I said yes——I mean duh. So he literally licks his thumb (twice) puts his nasty saliva on his thumb and then puts it on the envelope to seal the card. Mind you there was TAPE right behind him. I usually just tape the envelope. For him to do that I thought it was absolutely disgusting and he seriously needs an etiquette class or home training. I didn’t say anything because I was mortified. And yes please let management know of this review he needs to be informed that, that is NOT okay nor professional to do. I don’t care if that’s what you do to seal a card I do not know you. That is trifling and uncouth.

Really told me I had to purchase a whole roll of tape to get my label on the package.
