I was there on a Monday evening around 6:30pm. The store was quiet and calm. Very clean and organized. Helpful staff. I love office supply stores. It's right across the street from Home Depot too.

I was having a really bad day and the nice guy at the printing station asked me if I was okay when I came to pick up my books. He asked one more time before I left. I unfortunately didn't get his name, but it was very kind. On top of that, the service to get my music books spiral bound (makes them much easier to use) was extremely affordable and a quick turnaround time. I'll definitely be back for similar services. <3

I have to come here all the time for print services for my job and I cannot say I have had a speedy or pleasant experience one singular time. They’re either understaffed with insanely long line or they have like four employees behind the print counter and only one checkout lane open. The last time I was there besides today, I was in line with about ten other people to check out and there was nobody working the register. We all just stood there and watched several customers grown impatient enough to put down their items and leave. Eventually I did the same after probably 15 minutes of seemingly nobody working there. Today I went and was helped by Christina who was actually very kind and helped me quickly so five stars to Christina but the rest of my experiences have been truly bad. I don’t believe this to be a staff issue. It seems like it’s poorly managed and the staff aren’t given the training or the tools to do their jobs which is a shame considering most people are forced to come to this store as it’s the only one in the area. Send someone to fix this store dude it’s so bad !!!

The employees in the print center are some of the worst Ive ever encountered at a store. You can stand at the counter forever before they acknowledge your presence. When they do finally wait on you, they did not review the print project with me, they slapped it on the counter and didnt even provide a bag for it. I had to ask for a bag. I placed a print order today at Office Max because your service at the W 117th location in Cleveland OH is horrible and I will no longer order from you.

Terrible experience January 30,26 My first encounter with a elderly Caucasian lady with a ponytail slick back at about 10:55 AM My son and I arrived to the store. I say good morning to the lady she ignores me. I’m standing right in front of her face. She’s staring into my soul. I say good morning again she finally muster the good morning. I proceed to ask her can she point me in the right direction for a label maker tape . She stomped her way to the area & pointed at the area, I tell her I’m colorblind and I want to make sure I’m getting the correct color and can she assist me further The lady says there are all the same, just pick one OK again I’m with my son my son and I both have A1 manners. This woman should not be in customer service. I say that to say this . It was a teachable moment. I did not raise my voice. I did not match her negative manners However, I did demand my respect. I told the woman can you do your job and make sure that I’m getting the correct tape. It is 0° out here. I would hate to have to come back and return it. I also have the label machine with me just to ensure that I get the correct item. The woman tells me I know that, that’s the right one. Just pick one , No problem that was the final straw for me , I look at her like she had lost her mind , rude and miserable , She hands me the tape to the label machine , here take this one I proceeded to the register . OK the register employee had good customer service. Long story short when I get home and I open the box .. Lord behold, it was the incorrect item. The following morning, today 11/31/26 at 10:43 am I have to return to Staples and now it’s a snowstorm and 4° outside and I’m also with my son once again. I asked for a Manager, his name is Ryan Steffen . Why would they make this person a manager? I don’t understand. I see why now Some of their employees act the way that they do , because if this is the model to teach Customer Service , staple has failed miserably The assistant manager, Ryan Ask me hey what’s up? Hey, what’s up?oh no I see where this is going I say to him, sir I’m out here as you can see with my son in a snowstorm because your employee failed to do her job And sell me the incorrect item , My first encounter with your employee , she was very rude, nasty and miserable. On top of that, she lacked professionalism And here we are today, having to come out of my home to an unpleasant situation that spilled over till a following day that would inconvenience my day, my time and my patience. Because it’s 4° today and snowing and slippery outside This assistant manager did not ask me what was the employee’s name did not apologize. Did not even want to hear my story. Just said wait right here I’ll get you the right one After coming back back-and-forth three times with the wrong item, he says to me I see why she could Have made that mistake, I would’ve done the same thing What ! Are you kidding me aren’t you the employee? Shouldn’t you Be knowledgeable as to what you’re selling, and as the assistant manager, this is your answer , that you would’ve done the same thing . you would not take your time to make sure that the customer is getting the correct item , that they’re paying their money for .. you have to be kidding me. Long story short after three attempts, he finally comes back with the right one. Doesn’t say anything else to me , tells the register employee can you finish this? And walk off still no apologizing no, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. No nothing no accountability whatsoever. I don’t understand what’s going on in the world, but this is unacceptable and it needs to stop. I am a GM .. As a general manager to a prestigious hotel, I would never treat anyone the way I was treated yesterday , nor today , I wouldn’t treat anyone on a daily basis. That way with no manners with no accountability with no anything terrible . I for one will not return to the Staples . I will make sure to let my coworkers, my colleagues, my family, and friends know , not to spend your money where you are not being respected .
