The mail carrier on my route keeps stealing my packages and crams packages way to big in the box that I cannot remove without damaging the contents inside the box, apparently because they are too fricken LAZY to put it on my porch. The Supervisor at the branch is Useless and you can’t get a person on the phone to talk to. Minus 100 Stars

Waited in-person at this Post Office for 20 minutes. I was repeatedly and nicely told that someone would be right with me. Everyone was quite pleasant. After the third time being told someone would be with me and waiting 20 minutes, I walked out, this is not acceptable.

The Lockland Post Office is the post office that delivers mail to my neighborhood. For many years I had no concern about this station. But lately I've experienced some customer service issues that are downright maddening. The issues for me began on December 21, 2024 when I went to mail a large stack of Christmas cards there. Many held only the card, but some included photos, so I wanted the clerk to check each one on the scale to see if it needed extra postage. For DECADES I have periodically asked postal employees to double check postage on some items and it was never a problem--until recently at Lockland. The clerk was totally dismissive and just by holding them said each one was fine and I repeatedly said that I would like to have them double checked, but he kept blowing off that request and saying they were fine. He just wouldn't do it. It was maddening. I asked for the manager to take a look and he came out--and found, to no great surprise on my part, that three or four of them needed extra postage. I told the manager that I had always found postal employees at his station and others were helpful when I asked them to double check for adequate postage and this seemed like routine business for the Post Office. He said they were able to do that if they weren't too busy or "there was a long line." I didn't say anything about that, but had a bitter laugh on the inside when I thought of how often I've come to a post office and there's a long line and only one employee at the desk and there's no sense of urgency to move things more quickly. I'm sure a lot of folks reading this have encountered that too. I left this encounter with the following impression: good customer service just doesn't matter for some at the Lockland station. I spoke briefly with a Post Office customer complaint representative and decided I wanted to revisit this issue with the manager as I was unsatisfied with the discussion with him that Saturday. I went in one afternoon and he wasn't in, but an assistant manager came out. I started to explain what had happened the previous Saturday, and as soon as I described the clerk in question she threw back her head and started laughing and giggling to herself. Apparently this guy is the resident card or class clown or station pet and it was apparent to to me that I wasn't dealing with a serious adult who would address the issue I had. She took my number and said the manager would call me. There was no call. Again I got this message: good customer service just doesn't matter for some at the Lockland station. Despite this business, I returned to the station desk again later that winter. There are a couple of clerks there who do a good job, so I hoped I could get some good information about mailing a number of self-published books to people who were purchasing a copy. I wanted to get some idea about what a typical mailing cost might be as we were figuring that into the price. I asked a young woman some questions about this matter at the front desk and I ran into this avoidance again. She said it all depended how far it was being sent. She saw no point in weighing it just to get a general idea. The impression I got was she just couldn't be bothered. Again the message was clear: good customer service just doesn't matter to some at the Lockland station.I took the book to another station in the vicinity. The clerk there was extremely helpful, weighed the book and provided good information. What a contrast! I gave the Lockland station a wide berth---until Monday, July 21, 2024. I had a card and again wanted to make make sure I had adequate postage. I went in around 3:40 P.M. The clerk at the right hand side of the desk held it in her hand, said it was fine and wouldn't weigh it. Said she had been working there for years and knew what she was doing. I asked for the item back and then she indignantly threw it on the scale and said it was fine. I found her behavior rude and unpleasant. I'm done with this place. Good customer service just doesn't matter to some at the Lockland station,

Lost packages, delivered mail to wrong address, and now they can't seem to forward my mail to my new address. This is the worst post office I have ever seen in my life. They need to fire all of the employees then bulldoze this place and start from scratch.
