Yesterday, 1/9/26 was a most traumatic experience for several of us at the Montgomery Post Office. In the space of just a few minutes we went from a friendly group of patrons to a truly horrific exchange between the postal worker and a customer. There is no denying that the customer was possibly mentally ill, but the postal employee only made the situation worse and when the customer asked for a supervisor, the employee said there was not one (something we later learned was untrue). For about five minutes, we all stood there terrified as they yelled at each other at the top of their lungs. At one point, a well-meaning young woman tried to deescalate the situation, but the customer turned to her and began yelling at her as well. When the gentlemen next to me asked what we should do, I told him to look at the floor and remain silent. I realize now that we all should have just left the post office. There was really no way for us to know whether or not the woman had a weapon or what her next move would be. We all understood that the customer was problematic which should have prompted the person in charge to simply say "this is inappropriate, you need to leave or I will call the police" rather than continuing to provoke her. Note: I had to give a star to post the review, there should be no stars

Came into the post office today to find out if I could somehow get a new postage label and refund the old one after I missed the ship date due to my mother’s passing. Instead of even remotely listening to me say something as quick as what I just typed I was initially just not listened to, so I had to reexplain and then was immediately told that they don’t do labels? Just postage. Then was told just go write a new one and pay. I was met with intense condescension for whatever reason. I just walked over to write the address and realized I didn’t have my phone. I took my box back out to the my car and just bought a new label. Then I found out I could get a refund for the label I purchased before. I’m unsure what made her so mad, I will say I came in 20 minutes before they closed but I used to bartend and do kitchen work when I was younger. Even if she just listened it wouldn’t take her 10 minutes and she didn’t have to close a kitchen/ bar and sweep and mop lol hopefully she has a better day tomorrow I guess

One of your drivers not only cut me off with my child in the car, he was in a black chrysler, he proceeded to speed doing 50 through a school zone of 25 mph.. when confronting employee about the reckless behavior in the parking lot they said there isn't anything they can do about it... just sad we have these people on our streets daily - no wonder there are so many accidents in Cincinnati. Do better.

Went in today to ship two packages, the website wasn’t allowing me to print my labels. I walked up to the front lady and she was very rude. I asked her to print me a label and she responded “Do you think I stand up here and print everyone’s label?” And then proceed to yell, I decided I was leaving and she said “Yeah gone head and leave.” Very disgusting, not professional. And then she proceeded to talk smack to the other people in line.
