The employee at the desk had no idea what I meant, and asked to verify if it’s for a deceased veteran, I told her no it is for retired flags which you cannot just toss in the trash. I overheard her ask gentlemen in the back they too responded with complete confusion. Does USPS not help dispose of American Flags anymore?
