Dropped wedding invites off 1 week ago. No one has received the invite. Tried calling for hours to get some kind of info and never got connected to a human

The staff isn't what I have an issue with. I went on June 26th to get a stamp and mail off a letter. Well, I just checked my receipt, and I don't have a tracking number. I have been calling both numbers provided since 3:09pm with no answer. My letter has not made it to the important designation and now I have to go back to the post office and either see if they can provide me with the tracking number or try to express my mail since I needed it there before tomorrow 7/8/2025. Such a huge inconvenience.

Apparently, if you don't inform the post office that you moved, they can choose to not deliver your mail. I have missed a paycheck and an important letter in the mail, because whoever delivered the mail chose not to deliver my things. I have lived at other addresses in the US and have never had this problem. The postal service in the US needs to be privatized so they can't get away with not delivering mail over petty things like my name not being on the mailbox yet. I literally just moved. The lady on the phone who helped me was nice, but I'm still livid. I need that paycheck right now. It has been a horrible year, and I'm not even sure if financial survival is possible long term, and the mail carrier has now added more stress that I didn't need.
