Associate Riley was very helpful on a confusing Amazon return. She was pleasant and assisted with the return over and beyond.

First UPS Store where the service sucks. No one at the front to help customers. Add more workers.

The staff at this location is always so friendly and helpful. No matter how busy the place is or how long the line , they are always smiling and ready to help. I was in this morning and the lady running the front, Christa ? appeared to be by herself, was so busy, but didn’t miss a beat and kept smiling and laughing with customers , and moved the line right along. My code was set for Whole Foods and she walked me through step-by-step on how to cancel the return and redo it for drop off at the UPS store. Thank you for your help and for always being so kind. Great way to start my day.

This location gets worse every time I have to come in. Unless you're into public humiliation rituals, you may want to avoid this store. I have never experienced such disrespectful behavior from employees toward customers. I was legitimately shocked. When I arrived around 1 PM today, the woman at the desk was "helping" an older woman, who was confused by the employee's request for an email. The older woman said, "I am sorry, every other time I have done this it was just scan the code and go," to which the employee responded "well it would help if people would actually read directions before they come in here and hold up the line" and told the woman to step aside while she "assisted" other customers (with great huffing, puffing, eye rolling, etc through each interaction). After about 15 minutes in line, a coworker appears from the back and starts barking at everyone in the line that "we should be using the available kiosks." These kiosks were absolutely buried in packages, barely visible in the packed room, and there was no clear signage to let anyone know what kind of services the kiosks could complete, and the other employee had never mentioned the kiosks, even as the line wrapped in circles around the room. A couple of customers asked if the machines could scan amazon QR codes, which they do, and many people in line shuffled to go to the kiosks instead of dealing with the employees (myself included). The next customer needing help was clearly struggling with English and trying his best to navigate the process, and the first employee who was helping him turns to her older coworker and says (loudly enough for all to hear) "You can deal with this one" and laughs. As this interaction is taking place, a mother and her preteen daughter try to enter, clearly struggling with a large, heavy, awkward package, which they bumped into the doorframe as they entered. The first employee, again, and loudly, again, says "Don't mess up the door!!" as they stumble inside. There was no hint of sarcasm or dry humor in her voice, she was being quite nasty and quite sincere about it.
Look - I get it... work sucks, customers are stupid, annoying and rude, the job is hard and demanding and thankless... if this was a one-off experience I would gladly have assumed it was a bad day. But it isn't. It's a bad culture, at this location at least. Employees being outwardly degrading toward customers - people out running an errand, who want the interaction to be quick and painless too - it is becoming a hallmark of the experience at UPS Glenway. It really isn't a lot to expect basic civility and dignity in public.
To that employee who ignored the nice older woman who told you to have "an amazing day" despite how rude you were to her... have the day you deserve.

The experience started out pleasant on December 22nd when we went in there to ship packages to family out of state... We paid extra money to have it there and UPS failed to deliver... The package ended up getting delivered after the deadline... When we went back to try to obtain a refund for the extra money we had spent for shipping we were told by a very lousy excuse for a location manager don't know her name but she had long straight Amber or light red hair with glasses... She informed us that the guaranteed time frame for packages had expired on December 19th... However we were not told this when we went in there on December 22nd now the lady that helped us initially she was very nice no issue with her she just did not inform us that the guaranteed delivery time frame had expired... So apparently the manager at this location is inexperienced and has no communication skills and did not relay the information to her employees who were continuing to tell customers after the deadline that guaranteed delivery was still an option that we paid extra money for and did not deliver... When we went back in to address the issue we were told we would get a call back from UPS within 1 hour that did not happen or the latest the very next day that did not happen either... The manager of this place did not have an explanation apparently her employees do not relay communication messages to her either.... This manager has no managerial skills whatsoever she does not follow up on communications nor does she see that her employees relay the correct information to customers... And because of this we handed over extra money to UPS for absolutely nothing they did not deliver as promised.... And then another employee try to defer the issue by making reference that we were pointing at her and being rude when we were not doing that at all we were just making reference to the person we had spoke to who told us we would get a phone call and did not way to go there by calling customers rude and deferring the issue to something else that has nothing to do with why we were there just face up to what you did wrong and admitted don't try to chicken out by playing the offended card that we were being rude... She needs to get a life !!... The manager offered a substandard apology and said that if she tried to do a refund it would just get denied even though admitting that UPS screwed up... If your promise anything in reference to a guaranteed delivery by anything that the manager of this place says to her employees I definitely would double check and triple check to make sure that you're not getting shafted on the back end... I'm very surprised at this location up until this point I've never had an issue... That manager definitely needs some remedial training or placed in a different position or she doesn't have to deal with customers... This manager was not sincere in her apology whatsoever... Now the clerk that originally told us the wrong information she was very apologetic I have no issue with her she was just not informed but it's up to the manager to see that the employees are informed and relaying the correct information to customers so basically the problem falls on leadership and management in this place.... And another rude employee who did not live up to what she said was going to happen either... So to try to get out of it she plays Ithe offended card because we were pointing and showing the manager who told us the information... Anyway if this employee's self-esteem is that bad she should not be around customers either.... And then on top of everything calling us rude again as we're walking out the door... This person should be fired immediately !!..... I'm so disappointed in a company that I've used many times in the past that has not given me an issue but today your ship has sunk !!!
