Here's the FedEx policy on this: Provide ID and Tracking Number: Bring a government-issued photo ID and the tracking number to the pickup location. Authorize Pickup: A person who lives at the same address as the recipient can pick up the package. After his first refusal, I left the office and reentered to try again. He was laughing with another customer about my situation. Finally got the package after a supervisor intervened. Bad start to the day; package is flowers on the death of a family member.
