  I had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with this UPS location. I shipped a package on Monday and trusted the employee to handle it with basic care and professionalism. Instead, they chose to tape directly over the ends of a shoe box rather than properly package the item. This careless decision damaged the box and caused me to lose money on my sale. This is Shipping 101 — if an item needs protection, you properly package it or at the very least communicate with the customer. Instead, my package was handled with complete disregard for the contents and zero attention to detail. It honestly felt like no effort or thought went into handling my shipment at all. When customers pay for a professional shipping service, they expect their items to be handled properly — not altered or damaged because of poor judgment or laziness. The lack of care shown here reflects very poorly on this location’s standards and training. This situation was completely avoidable and should never have happened. Because of this experience, I have very little confidence in trusting this location with anything valuable again. UPS needs to do a much better job ensuring employees understand proper packaging practices and basic customer care.
