- SBSade BennettDec 13, 20251.0Overall experience, I would give it one star and the one star is for the cleanliness of the post office. I attempted to process a minor passport. I was on the misconception that I confirmed the appointment which is fine. It was not the gentleman at the front automatically was very unwelcoming and he was of a white race, and I myself is of a different color and automatically you can sense that he was very unkind unhelpful on the website. It states that they have walking hours when I attempted to inquire of the walk-in hours, he said that they were fully booked, but he told me that there was only one appointment at 11:45 so I’m not sure how they were fully booked, but what do I know? I would not recommend this location. He needs to be pulled and retrained for cultural competence as the times are changing, and there will be other races visiting this location. At the time of the visit, there were two white men, one black men, and both white men were very unprofessional very unwelcoming very racist for a lack of a better word.

- VLValerie LicciardoneAug 14, 20183.0Great mail carrier but temps put mail whenever they want. Holding mail is not possible unless you go to the P.O. Totally absurd. Smarten up Yorktown P.O. or you will all lose your jobs due to unreasonable service or should I say non-service.
- LML MAug 3, 20171.0I believe allowing pro-trump demonstrators (photo should be among others below) on the front lawn of the Yorktown post office, August 2017, is an illegal action, as stated by Federal guidelines. Shame on you Yorktown Postmaster. "Except as part of authorized postal activities, no tables, chairs, freestanding signs or posters, structures, or furniture of any type may be placed in postal lobbies or on postal walkways, steps, plazas, lawns or landscaped areas, driveways, parking lots, or other exterior spaces."
