Been there since college before riding the 7 train at 61st Street- Woodside where I used to mail letters including Christmas cards in December before Super Megaforce Christmas. This allows me to save time along with budget before it's too late since it was one of my errands at the time I was a college student at LaGuardia Community College.

I took my daughter to renew her passport today. There was only one service window open, and about 20 people were waiting. I understand that people with appointments are allowed to go ahead of walk-in customers, but walk-ins are not guaranteed to be helped if there isn’t enough time.
The office hours are from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. I arrived at 8:50 AM, and there were already 11 people in front of me.
I have a few concerns:
1. Is it possible to have more than one window open to help with passport services?
2. The line was not well organized. People who were only dropping off mail were mixing in with those waiting for passport services, which caused confusion.
3. It seemed like the staff were not very willing to assist or work efficiently.

I was supposed to have a package delivered to my house on a specified date but suddenly, I received a notification that an “individual” picked up the package at the postal facility at the same day when it is supposed to be delivered. This was weird and suspicious cos apparently you need to sign a form that an authorized individual is allowed to pick up your package. I did not sign anything nor did I ask anyone to pick it up and I was at home at the time of alleged pick up. Also, what perfect timing of this said individual to pick it up during its delivery date early in the morning. Isn’t not allowed to let someone pick it up without permission? And let alone without identification that will match the recipient’s name and address? Someone stole my package. I’m terribly sad for this to happen.

Absolutely terrible experience. The staff specifically the elderly Asian lady was incredibly rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional during passport processing. There was zero patience, zero communication, and clear incompetence throughout the entire process. This place is disorganized and a complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

If you’re planning to get your passport just know that they don’t actually have photo services despite the website indicating they do. It will allow you to make an appointment with photo but they cannot actually do it so be sure to make other arrangements.
