- MGMadai GApr 10, 20261.0I went on April 9 around 8:30 p.m. to the Party City section to buy balloons, and my experience with the manager was terrible. I was standing there while he was walking directly toward me, clearly trying not to look at me and ignoring me even though I spoke to him. I had to call him twice before he responded, and when he finally did, he didn’t even answer my question and just walked away. After ignoring me, he went up to another customer and offered help, which felt completely discriminatory. To make things worse, while my balloons were being inflated, he interrupted and asked the employee in front of me and other customers if I had paid or had a receipt (it wasn’t even clear what he was verifying). This was extremely disrespectful and unnecessary, especially when he could have checked with the cashier instead of doing it publicly. The attitude was arrogant, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for someone in a leadership position.

The manager used profanity; we went for a walk in TSA appt; the night before a different manager assured my husband that walk ins are welcome. We both took days off and rather than speak calmly and rationally, he chose to curse and essentially chase us out, even when there were no other people waiting. Disgusting behavior and the cashier was equally rude. I hope corporate sees this.

While I was waiting, another customer asked for ink and he stopped helping me to assist her instead. Customers should be helped in the order they arrive. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said he was the supervisor. Very disappointing and poor customer service.
