If you don't make them scan your package they won't and they won't try to look for it or reimburse you even when you talk to them have to have and they messed up not scanning the package and it's lost in their facility. And btw I didn't leave it in the drop box I gave it to the counter lady and purchased other things but she didn't scan my package! It was lost for over a month and the didn't call me or text me updates like I signed up for so I can get the package back instead of the customer who already got refunded from me, so I take a loss. And the $100 insurance they claim to put on your package is also bull. Don't use this post office unless you get a receipt for every little item and make sure you double check. I myself am reporting them for not doing their job to their higher ups and will not be using the post office in solvay ever again.

the issue I have with this branch is when I stop mail delivery when I go on vacation. I have done stop mail on line. Nope still delivered. Then I stopped on line and filled put their postcard with dates to stop, hand delivered ti the branch and nope still delivered. Spoke to branch and was told on line is unreliable( although all my family has used on line and has never been an issue). Was told last time it's because they have subs fill in. ( my u
sual mailman works 5 days, sub fills in 2) Usual mailman is excellent. When I addressed this with branch, same excuse. Again I filled out stop notice, hand delivered and AGAIN it was delivered when stopped. Totally unacceptable!
