The Port Richmond post office is always the better option. The service is excellent. The people are super nice and the lines are not long.

Disgusted with this post office. I booked a passport appointment for my 2 year old weeks ago 10 minutes before my appointment they called and said their camera was not working and I needed to go and get photos, unfortunately I was unable to do that because I didn’t have enough time to do that. I specifically chose this location because they had the photo services. I had to reschedule. Today I showed up for my 12:45 appointment at 12:35. When I finally reached the window I told them I was there for my passport appointment they got went to the back and came out after a few moments. She said they can’t do our daughter’s appointment because the person isn’t there but I can go to Tompkins which is 15 minutes away (driving)…I don’t know if she was a manager but she didn’t even step in to help. If she was the manager which I believe she was in the back and came out with regular clothing on. I said this is ridiculous she had no empathy either just said we’re short staffed. There was one other customer in there so it doesn’t even make sense why they couldn’t do the passport. I’m even more upset our appointment was at 12:45pm, they called me the first time to tell me the camera wasn’t working but never called me to tell me they couldn’t fulfill my appointment. That is highly unprofessional. My finance asked if we would be priority when we got to Tompkins she said they’re waiting for you. We get there and still had to wait another 30-40 minutes because they had to do their passport appointments although they came in after us. Your employees and managers need more training and the fact that they had my 2 year old waiting for over an hour because they screwed up is very disappointing. The fact this was the second issue with this post office and they were completely nonchalant about it. I came with a toddler which shows on my appointment confirmation the. What if I didn’t drive? What if I took off work for this (which I did). No consideration at all! Disgusting

One particular carrier is extremely unprofessional (harasses and is aggressive). He does not care for clients at all. Complaints don’t do anything to change this. The Post Office manager is very dismissive, I don’t see that she care’s about others from the way she addresses concerns.
