What does the letter carrier do drop it off on his way home. This is not acceptable. Tried to call as always no answer.

There is no parking in front of it, so most likely you'll have to walk some distance from wherever you'll park the car, and the street is filled with "No Standing" and "No Parking" signs so if you're driving - you better leave someone inside the car who can move it without you or just ask someone else to drive you to this office.

Later I found out that I may not get my money back from our of state business. I politely asked at window for my box to be retrieved and given back to me. USPO employee didn't give my box back! One small box! Not a hard request! Another USPO debacle! My certified letter sent on 8/6/2021 has been in transit.! To this day, still not delivered. It has gone to Philadelphia to the JFK USPS facility..now back to Philadelphia..I have been getting these USPS alerts.."in transit ". USPS is bogus....it's tracking system will give me "in transit" updates for days to come. My letter had very important Social Security documents. I am quite upset. 2 months my certified letter was going between NYC and Philadelphia TWO MONTHS !!!!! Just got my certified letter green card today.Post office employee here Staten Island. stated blah blah about legibility of envelope could have been the cause. Biggest bunch of nonsense
