I brought my mother to this post office to renew her passport, and the experience was beyond frustrating. My mom is in a wheelchair, and it’s extremely difficult to get her down the stairs and into the car, but we made the trip because we were told they accept walk-ins.
When we arrived, the woman working there was incredibly rude. Instead of helping us or even acknowledging the effort it took to bring my mother in, she brushed us off instantly and said there was a “limit” for walk-ins — something that was never mentioned on the phone. No empathy, no apology, nothing.
On top of that, she told us they don’t accept blue ink on the forms, even though nowhere on the documents or online does it say that. It felt like she was looking for excuses instead of helping us.
For a place that serves the public — including disabled individuals — the lack of courtesy, consistency, and basic human decency is unacceptable. If this is how they treat people who go out of their way just to follow the rules, something seriously needs to change. Management needs to address this immediately
