She was incredibly unhelpful and rude, and even at one point said "it's not my job to help you with this" when I was asking how to properly fill out a form. Even though she had previously been very insulting about the fact that it was done incorrectly. To their credit, the gentleman that took over from her to help me was perfectly cordial and I appreciate that the postmaster accepted my forms regardless. However that does not excuse the incredibly rude behavior that I encountered.

You would think a government job with all the great benefits plus hours would make some people greatful, but that’s not the case at the Rye Post Office. I’ve been to Harrison Post Office and they are much nicer. I wouldn’t reccomend this post office if you are looking for some human to human interactions.
