- JLJ LDec 4, 20191.0No issues with the normal carrier however the post master of this small rural post office does not work with the customers to help the elderly.. All proposals for resolution to the home delivery issues for a frail elderly gentleman were shot down by them for very insecure or unsafe options either for the elderly customer or for the mail itself. Tried to talk to them however they hung up on me...sorry I don't have the luxury of a 9:30 to 4:00 pm job and the postmaster isn't there on the weekend as per the carrier this past Saturday. A postal/ parcel box was purchased because they recommended getting a box. Then after they found out it was locking parcel box by key or combination they suggested a plastic tub (insecure) or leaving the garage door open (insecure for the elderly gentleman). They refuse to do anything with a key or combination to maintain the security or integrity of the mail, and then they want to risk the safety of the elderly person....

I received a notice saying I needed to pick up a package at the post office but the address was HFL. I drove there and they said it's actually at the Rush PO. I drove there and the doors were open but the grate was pulled down on the window. I heard people talking in the back and and knocked on the door to ask when they would be open again. As soon as they heard me knock, they were quiet and no one answered the door. The workers here are useless.
