He was doing a great job of keeping calm and trying to deescalate the phone conversation, while a line of mostly impatient people stood there sighing and rolling their eyes. When he was able to get back to serving the folks in store, he continued his calm, professional demeanor, even as more and more people continued to stream in. I appreciated his temperament and professionalism, and I hope whoever handles staffing for this location does right by their employees and gets enough hands on deck to serve the volume of customers.

As I was walking up to the customer service guy he said "I really hate when people come in here on a Saturday!" I said "excuse me?" He said "I was talking to her." Pointing to the other customer service person who was in the process of assisting another customer. I then said "I don't care who you were talking to, as a customer service person for UPS, you shouldn't be saying that." His reply "I can only say that I'm sorry". I felt like saying to him that if you don't like your job then get out! UPS, why do you have such people representing you like this? It's not a good look!
