Absolutely the rudest customer service. Not expecting a red carpet but claiming to be closed before the actual time is insane. Lock the door to not accept customers then.

My sister sent me a Priority Mail package from across the country with Christmas gifts, but we weren't home for the first delivery attempt, so the package was left at this office for pickup. I filed a redelivery request through the USPS website but it wasn't loaded on the truck on the requested date or the day after. I felt hopeless seeing the reviews here. This morning I called the post office and got redirected to their automated package inquiry chatbot. I filled out the form not expecting anything to happen. An hour later, I got a call from (who I think is) this office's supervisor, who told me he was going to deliver the package in-person himself! He dropped off the package as promised a couple hours later. This level of service was shocking, especially in the days between Christmas and New Years and in these weather conditions too. (To be fair, our mailman is super nice, so maybe it wasn't that big of a surprise.) Also, I order a *lot* of stuff online. The items that come through this office consistently process quickly and arrive on-time (or even a day or two earlier).

QR code system is down 🤷🏻‍♀️ I been trying since last week but because of the comments here it seems is always like that. The workers here seem tired of repeating that all day, as someone who works on customer service I get that sucks when there’s nothing you can do about it.

The kiosk was down so I had to go to the counter to ask a yes/no question to see how I can proceed with my shipment. I wasn’t even able to open my mouth since this lady immediately shut me down before I could speak, telling me I should go to Fresh Pond or Glendale instead. She didn’t even know what I was there for. I just left instead of proceeding with my inquiry because she obviously didn’t want to bother. A KIOSK DOES A BETTER JOB AT HER JOB!!!!!!!! The post office was open. One lady was serviced before me, and there was another lady being serviced on the other counter as well. I don’t expect you to go above and beyond but you’re just way too rude. And you should take that hat off!!! You don’t embody what it stands for.

I know post offices are notoriously bad but this one takes the cake. How is every system always down and the person you need for your specific need is never there? Always a line and after 30 minutes of waiting they’ll let you know that the QR system is down. I’ve gone many times and been told to come back later- lived here 6 years and it’s only gotten worse, omg I hate this post office.
