- CJChristina Jewett6 days ago1.0I don’t know who the young sounding girl is that answers the phone at Remsen post office, but she is extremely, extremely rude. She shouldn’t be allowed to work with the public. I get help is hard to find but seriously if I was her boss she would be gone. I would rather be short staffed than have someone like that representing my business.

I came in a few minutes before closing and she had an attitude right off the bat. I was grabbing a priority mail box to send my disabled elderly father and my disabled brother in Arizona, and she immediately blurts with an attitude "just so you know we close in 3 minutes". I replied "yes. I know I'm sorry I couldn't come any earlier". Then I asked her which box was the large priority box and again with a nasty attitude she replied I don't know. I was trying to let all of her attitude go as I was more concerned with trying to get my package out as quick as possible. Then as I'm closing the box I asked if I could borrow some tape and she's like "were not allowed to let people use tape"... I'm stunned as she says this as I have been sending my dad and brother a Christmas package at that same post office for 7 years, 15 years total (including other places), and no one has ever once told me that I'm not allowed to use the tape for a box that is literally being sold at the post office. I told her how important it is to get this box to my father as he's elderly and this makes his Christmas. She didn't care in slightest. So I asked her, why do you sell boxes then? And she said "so you can take it home and box it. I said I don't even have boxing tape at home and then she said, "so go buy some". I told her "OK I you seem to have an attitude problem" she replied "no I don't" "yes you do".... So I put the box back and said sarcastically "wow, thank you so much, now my father won't get his package in time for Christmas. Yeah, happy holidays".... Then said as I was leaving "Grinch". I honestly think this woman was just mad because she was going to leave 5 min late. BIG WOOP. So what? It's 5 min of your time. It's the holidays, have a little compassion. I would have been in and out in 5 min had she not been so rude and difficult. I went through a lot trying to make it before they shut their doors. She's a complete pill and should not be working with people. Maybe she hates her job.... SO QUIT.... No one will miss you!
