- ELEvan LaPannDec 10, 20251.0Ordered a bunch of gifts and stuff on black friday. I have 5 packages coming from 3 different carriers, including USPS. All of the packages arrive, except one that was being delivered by USPS. I check the status of the package on the USPS website and it says "Couldn't deliver." Well that's very strange because I got every other package, including another package that was sent by the same seller, at the same time, and also came by USPS. Why could USPS deliver one package but not the other? So I wait another day, this time I'm home and I watch the mailman just drive past my house. I check the status and it says "couldn't deliver" again. I call the post office, they say they can't call the carrier, which is ridiculous. So I get in my car and try to catch up to the carrier. As I'm driving behind him, waiting for a good opportunity to pull over and ask for my package, I see that he is just putting people's packages either in their mailbox, or next to the mailbox if it's too big. Ok. I have a mailbox. Is there some reason he can't leave it in or next to MY mailbox? So I talk to him, tell him he missed my house, show him my ID to prove I live there. He says "Oh, I couldn't get the van down your driveway." There's literally no reason he needs to drive down my driveway. He's not going down other people's driveways, he's just leaving the packages next to the mailbox if it doesn't fit. But for some reason I have to level my driveway to get packages from USPS!? Huh? My mailbox is on the street. My porch is maybe 60 ft from the road. The driveway is shoveled. I have just as much snow in my driveway as every other house on the street that got their packages. He didn't even try to deliver it. He just looked at my driveway and decided I don't get mail. Explain this to me, because I feel like I took crazy pills. There's no reason my driveway needs to even come in to play to deliver packages. But even IF it did, UPS and DHL had no problem leaving packages on the porch. I don't even need that level of service, I just want the level of service that EVERY OTHER PERSON ON MY STREET GETS!
- MNMichael NoonanAug 5, 20245.0Friendly staff, helpful carriers. I rate this post office 95/100. Certain carriers deliver with no regard for the instructions posted on the article being delivered. When the article clearly states "DO NOT BEND" and the carrier bends it to fit into my mailbox instead of leaving a pickup (at the post office) notice it's a bit frustrating; hence, 95/100. Otherwise this post office does a great job for us!

My friends and I's car broke down near this post office and we stopped by to charge our phones and stay out of the cold. The woman working there (Karen) was the sweetest. She let us stay inside and charge our phones with no issue and even offered to pick us up food on her own lunch break! Karen is one of those people that truly renews my faith in humanity, her hospitality and kindness is unmatched. My friends and I will never forget the kindness she showed.
