All of my return items were already packed in the original Amazon boxes, yet I was told they charge $3 per box just to tape them. Amazon sends these stores a massive amount of business, and it’s disappointing to see customers being nickel-and-dimed like this. I ended up buying a roll of tape in the store for $6, which was already overpriced. What made the situation worse was the service. The representative not only told me I needed to step out of the line to tape the boxes myself, but he actually tried to usher me out of the store to do it. It’s one thing to overcharge customers for tape—it’s another to make them feel pushed out of the building after purchasing the tape from the same store. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I won’t be returning to this location.
