When USPS messes up an order or there is another mishap, I rely on Staples in my customers local area to get them the card same day for their convenience. Today, I paid for an order online for same day pick up at this Staples. I paid the most they would allow on their website to cut out a 5x7 card to which they only allow you to pay for 3 cuts and this needed to be 4 which has never been issue at any Staples in any state but this one. After I placed the order online, we called to talk to the print center for the additional cut. She said she understood and it would be no problem. This same associate asked that we call them back in a half hour to "remind us to do the cut" which is absurd but we did it anyway and called them back to "remind them" about this order. My customer went and picked this up today and due to how it was cut and delivered, I lost a customers trust. 1. This card was cut out incorrectly 2. It was folded with the least amount of care possible 3. Due to point #2, the card was ripped down the spine. 4. They asked for the customers name and then wrote the card holders full name in big black letters on the customers bag instead of their name. 5. This hurt my business I can't believe this was handed to my customer who can no longer give this as a gift and had to be fully refunded due to this. Since I didn't catch their name, this happened today at 11:27am today and the second call for their "reminder" was at 11:57am. I attached a photo of their quality of work.
