    I am writing to report an unprofessional experience I had at a UPS Store location. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of the associate who assisted me, but based on her behaviour, I believe her name might be "Karen". I recently purchased seven pairs of shoes from Nike.com, which offered me the option to pick up my order from either a CVS or UPS Store. I chose the UPS Store — a decision I now regret. When I arrived to collect my parcel, the associate initially told me there was no package under my name. A few moments later, she brought my parcel from the back and informed me that I needed to pay a $10 fee, claiming it was a “store policy.” I explained that my order was placed directly with Nike, and that the pickup option through UPS was part of the agreement between Nike and UPS, meaning no additional fees should apply. The associate then stated that I was required to pay the fee “because I am not American.” I contacted both Nike and UPS, and both confirmed that this charge was inappropriate and unacceptable. I am aware that this store may offer additional services (such as “needausaddress”), but I did not use or request any of these services. Charging me for something I did not order constitutes fraudulent behavior. My transaction was strictly between myself, Nike Inc., and UPS Inc., and therefore only the official policies of those two companies apply to my order — not any independent “store policy.” I have reported this incident to UPS for investigation. Going forward, I will be selecting CVS as my pickup option.

    I use this location strictly to drop off Amazon returns and the odd other shipment. It is an extremely busy location, especially at the end of the day. Giving that, people need to give employees space and be courteous. They're doing the best they can. They've been nice and courteous to me every time. When they're busy, obviously there is a line up. Again, customers should be patient and understanding. All in all I'll continue using them. I just wish they were open until 8 or 9, or later than 6 anyway.

    I've been using this location for the past 23 years to receive packages ordered online. Even going back to their previous address inside Wegmans Plaza next to the Chinese restaurant. Staff have always been friendly and professional.

    I visited the UPS location today around noon and was very disappointed with the service. A middle-aged woman wearing eyeglasses, possibly in her 60s, named Sarah, was extremely rude and, unfortunately, very racist toward me. She was pounding on the package she was holding while I was at the counter and insisted I had to wait to be called, even though there were no other customers in line. You could tell she was miserable and hated her job, which made her anger, unprofessional behavior, and discriminatory attitude even more unpleasant. Life is too short. If she is that miserable and hates her job so much, she should look for another one instead of taking it out on customers.
