If you come early right at 9 you have the place to yourself and the machines actually work unlike at most post offices.

This is the worst post office in the US ! I have mailed many packages across the US from various locations, and I have never been treated with such rudeness as I was at window #8 at 2:00 pm on Friday 3/20. I was mailing a book that was in a sealed box. I asked for one piece of tape, and the this very hateful clerk insisted she didn't have any, and I was wrong to ask for it. She then looks at my box, and says I can't use it to mail a book. Really? What about the other 100 I have mailed just like it before? I told her, "Thanks for nothing." Then I took my book to UPS and was treated with real kindness. They couldn't believe how misinformed this associate was either.

I wish I read the reviews before going there to try to get my passport done. The clerk processing the passport applications is incredibly rude, nasty, and obviously very miserable. She truly is so disgusting. I did didn’t get her name, but she’s short, dark skinned, and heavy set. I walked in while she was basically berating the customer ahead of me, then tries to tell me to join the other line, even though I was in the correct line. At 2 o’clock in the afternoon, only 2 windows were open: passport, and one for checks, stamps…etc. I left and went to the courthouse instead. I couldn’t possibly interact with her for the duration of the application process. Yikes!!One star because the place is spacious and clean.
