This post office needs to be shut down. All the post office workers are very unprofessional and seem bothered by everyone that comes for business. The clerks are not helpful very disrespectful, they need training on how to deal with the public. Please shut this place down. Horrible service

If I could give this zero stars I would. I had a passport application appointment scheduled months in advance and I came in and they told me the agent wasn’t here and I said “but I have an appointment” and the attendant got in my face and was incredibly rude to me, and then I tried to ask a follow up question and she walked away from me mid sentence

Be careful getting merchandise delivered to this post office location. A package I ordered was supposed to be delivered to my home address, and I never received it. On the order tracking number, it showed an individual picked up the package at this post office at 8:30PM. The Post office closes at 7:30PM. I went in today to find out about my missing package, and spoke to the supervisor of that branch, did not give any receipt on who picked up my item or offer to submit a lost and stolen report.

This is the worst post office I’ve ever dealt with. Like the many other reviewers. I totally agree that the level of unprofessionalism, incompetence and overall chaos is astounding considering this is a Federal service funded by the taxpayers. I was expecting a package at my place of employment. Signed up for tracking and notifications. 1st notification alerted me that an attempt was made but that the mailroom and office was closed. They arrived after normal business hours (5pm), then a 2nd attempt made , unsuccessful because again arrived after business hours. But then input package as delivered and that was also transmitted to the merchant. Long story short Saturday arrives and even though this is clearly a Monday thru Friday office building they go out with my package again and then at around 3pm I get a notification that the package is being returned to sender due it not being claimed in the appropriate amount of days. Meanwhile no notice was ever left for me to claim the package at this post office because the building is closed on weekends and after 5 pm. And furthermore why would they keep taking the package out of the post office if the next step is for me to pick it up at said post office? The post office closes at 4 on Saturdays and I got this notification after 3 pm. So I could not feasibly go in person to try to stop the return because I wasn’t even in the city on Saturday. I tried calling for an hour and the phone rang , no voicemail greeting , it would just disconnect after about 10 rings. I have submitted 2 email requests for assistance thru the website and received two rubber stamp identical replies indicating they are in receipt and will respond one they complete their investigation. No date given , no phone number provided. So I go in person to this post office Monday, waited on line for about 20 minutes and was told “nothing could be done because my package has already been processed to be returned to sender even though the post office is at fault”. Was told my only recourse is to contact the usps customer service again to see if they could put an intercept in the package and that I would have to pay $10 for this process. I called them today again the staff person tells me nothing can be done , since the package is in process of being returned. I asked to escalate my inquiry and complaint since I am not satisfied with this outcome only to be told they could only do that once I receive a response from the investigation/ inquiry which would be 2-3 business days. Meanwhile my package is headed back to merchant. Contacted the merchant which is a retail chain store because the items are now all unavailable, sold out on line and in store according to website. They confirmed this to be true and unfortunately they do not re send packages that are returned to them. So I now will never get the items I paid for and am being told they still have a notification from the post office stating the items were actually delivered and that until the package reaches them they are not going to be able to issue a refund. And once it does reach their warehouse it will be 14 days before I can receive a refund. So basically all of this is happening due to the failure and incompetence of this particular post office and unprofessional staff. Just wow. Don’t ever have anything delivered to this post office’s catchment area because this is how they conduct themselves. Zip code is 10027. Just ridiculous.

I asked for the times and what days the station for picking up packages is usually open for since I've never picked up packages and didn't have any devices to look up online. This lady in retail steady telling me it's not going to be open today and catching an attitude with me even though she's not answering my question.
