This post office branch continues to be the worst. They just happen to be the closest in my neighborhood.. last time I was there was the week before Christmas and one clerk got up and disappeared for 10 minutes while 50 people built up in the lobby. Finally, her coworker got up, walked to the back and shout and had her are you working today? Today I knew I didn’t wanna go to that coworker but guess my better judgment I did turned out. I have not put the ZIP Code on the Washington DC envelope. I couldn’t remember what it was and didn’t have my phone. She basically told me to go away as I’m leaving after asking her can’t she look it up? (I realize this is my fault, of course) she said no I can’t). I walk by the line of people at the self serve. I go back to her and ask her can I get the ZIP Code from the self serve and she says yes and I asked well. Why didn’t you tell me that? During Covid, this was the person that wouldn’t wear a mask and when asked why she said I can’t breathe with it and don’t need it

Unacceptable service. Extremely long line while the African American black female employee spent time chatting instead of working. When finally addressed, she was dismissive, disrespectful, and unwilling to help. No urgency, no professionalism, no basic customer courtesy. Go to any location but this one

If I could give zero stars I would. The lady that’s not Asian that works here is the worst USPS worker I’ve ever encountered, and that’s a difficult award to win.
