The 10029 post office delivers my mail. But apparently only from time to time and when they feel like it. With increasing frequency my vendors, such as my insurance agency or my credit card companies, reach out to me to verify my address because mail directed to me is being returned as undeliverable. This despite the fact that I have lived at the same address for 40 years. My building is a doorman building so there can be no excuse about not getting to the individual post boxes. It sports canopy with the address prominently displayed. There is no way that mail to my address is undeliverable.
I have elsewhere and at earlier times posted my descriptions of service within the station so I do not repeat that here so I do not repeat that here. I do not know where the blame for such terrible service lies but the ultimate responsibility is with the office manager who is not doing his or her job.

There is always a long line and only 1-3 people working the windows. The workers are great, it’s not their fault that they are understaffed. The workers are usually polite w helpful, but they are way overworked. If they had a few more employees I would have rated this way higher!

I came to give my rating. To my surprise not one or two, but plenty of complaints all saying the same stuff. Its really bad when this is the closet one in the area.
So from what I hear its normal for the mail man, woman to not deliver your mail, package. Information provided by
(automatic machine) As long as its not 48 hours. I called today because my mail normally comes between 1:20-1:45. I waited from 1:23pm till 2:30 pm. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP. I tried to call they didnt answer at all 4x. My only question was do they know no mail was delivered today? Infact nobody in my area only PACKAGES WERE OUT . (FED EX )(AMAZON)(UPS BROWN TRUCK) So if you guys (post office ) knows they're wont be any mail today. Dont you think telling the people waiting for the mail should know too? Or is that a secret or negligence?
