Approaching the counter, saying good morning, not receiving good morning back, and being scalded for not wrapping a package properly, is exactly how I want to start my day. Surely, there are different ways to tell someone that the package is not wrapped properly like: hi, good morning, I'm sorry we can't take this package because it's not wrapped properly but hey you can buy some tape and fix it, this is what's the problem with it. That is an alternative way to communicate to people. It's called being polite and kind. What a shame that we have forgotten basic manners these days!
