I ordered a photo for documents, but I never received a digital copy. When I went to the store the day after, they told me I had to pay for the photo again. People who work there don't cares about their clients

Terrible store. Refuses to accept electronics recycling despite being listed on the Staples webpage as a store to recycle with (and legal obligation under NYC law to accept electronics recycling).

Absolutely horrible experience with this place! On November 14th, 2025, I came in to drop off a package to be sent via UPS. The store associate attempted to scan the prepaid label, however, was unable to do so. He then informed me that while the label cannot be scanned and a receipt cannot be provided, they can still accept the package for shipping. I trusted the associate's word and gave the package. The package ended up not being delivered to the recipient, which resulted in me opening a claim. UPS agreed to pay for the lost package and requested proof of shipment. I contacted Staples numerous times, spoke to 2 different managers, one by the name of Kathina and another named Gabriel who basically advised me that there's nothing that can be done on the store's end. I called the Staples' package claims line, spoke to Asia who simply informed me that there's nothing that can be done. The package is worth over $1,300 and I cannot believe that the staff is not able to do anything about this. They accepted the package - therefore it is THEIR responsibility, yet they are treating this case like it's no big deal! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND FALLS BELOW ANY REASONABLE STANDARDS! I do not recommend anyone doing business with Staples as they are completely unprofessional and incompetent! Hey, Staples - what makes you think that you can just take someone's package, have it disappear and then brush it off like nothing happened?! Are you kidding me?! Whoever is reading this - take note. DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They bear absolutely no responsibility for their employees' actions and treat customers like garbage, causing immense issues and stress! STAY AWAY FROM STAPLES AND GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER COMPANY THAT IS WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY! The reputation of Staples is greatly tarnished!

My recent experience at this Staples location was disappointing due to the service provided by an employee named Junior. Instead of clearly explaining that a barcode is not accepted for Amazon returns, he simply redirected me to a UPS office without offering any clarification. This unapologetic familiarity caused unnecessary inconvenience.
Fortunately, another employee explained the reason why they don’t accept a barcode but QR code only, which resolved the issue quickly. I appreciate his professionalism, but the initial interaction significantly lowered my overall impression of the service.
