I was contacted by Mollye Sharon for a role in salt lake for Goldman Sachs. Now, this was a supposed entry level role that the client was willing to train for. I solved software problems for my last company so I was in no way a bad candidate for the position. My initial conversation with her was pleasant and felt positive however, she told me she would schedule a video call as part of insights screening process the next day. I never heard from her the following day- I had to reach out and she replied she was very busy that she would would schedule it on Thursday. ( felt like she didn't even remember we had a conversation the previous day) Ten minutes before the video call she called me and said " oh the client thinks you're too hands on" For a 20$ an hour entry role and my resume clearly had software experience? Either she or the client was lying through their teeth. This is now the fourth time that insight global has completely wasted my time. There will not be a fifth. Insight global is a personnel assembly line that takes the humanity out of the employment experience and they absolutely disgust me personally.

I was contacted by Isaac Salazar about an opportunity that, according to him, I was a strong fit for. He asked me for my availability to schedule a phone call. I got back to him within 10 minutes with my resume and my availability. It has been weeks, and I still have not heard back from him. No rejection, no update, no follow-up, nada! This is extremely unprofessional and rude. It doesn’t take a minute to send an automated rejection email.

I was contacted by Julia Pfohl from Insight Global about a job opportunity that, according to her, I was a good fit for. After sending over my resume, she assured me I’d be hearing back “shortly.” That was the last I ever heard from her. No updates. No follow-ups. Not even a courtesy rejection email. Just silence. I followed up multiple times — nothing. It’s baffling how a recruiter can initiate contact, ask for personal information, and then vanish like a magician at a cheap party trick. Looking through the reviews, it’s clear this isn’t just a Julia problem — it’s a systemic issue at Insight Global. Ghosting seems to be part of the culture here. We live in a world where automated rejection emails are the bare minimum. But evidently, even that’s too much effort for recruiters like Julia. Insight Global, if your recruiters are padding metrics with fake engagement or using candidates to hit KPIs without actual intent to place them, that’s not just unethical — it’s deceptive. Candidates are real people, not numbers on a dashboard. Treat them like it.

A textbook example of everything wrong with transactional recruitment. I was contacted by Lisa Rey regarding a supposedly urgent role her “client” needed to fill. She pushed hard for my updated resume and promised quick follow-up. After sending my information, I received nothing — no update, no courtesy message. I followed up myself and was met with total silence. It’s clear her only goal was to pad their internal database to hit KPI metrics, with zero intention of supporting candidates. As someone with agency recruiting experience, I recognize the tactic: bait candidates, harvest resumes, disappear. Unethical, disrespectful, and a waste of people’s time. Avoid.

They need to work on the importance of respectful communication with candidates
