I get mail that is not mine but since we have matching last names they must live with me.. They have lost Christmas gifts by putting them in the wrong box. Come to find out it was the same woman I had an issue with today. Today I checked the website to see what time they closed. It said 12pm. I get there at 11:37. I filled out my information, found the right envelope, all I needed was to weigh it so I could put the right amount of stamps on. I walked up to the window and ask her to weigh it to make sure it was correct. She close the window! "I said ma'am you don't close until noon it says on the website" she said "no we close at 11:45." I asked if she could just weigh this letter for me because my mother needs it immediately & she is in Florida. She said "we are closed." I understand that she has a life outside of the post office but I wasn't the only one. There were 2 older women walking in that swore they didn't close until 1pm. They also needed the window. I only needed a few seconds of her time. With limited hours to work around they should at least stay open til the set time. What happened to common courtesy? Fix the website or stay open an extra 15min.
