- ESElizaveta ShmatkoOct 28, 20251.0I I could give zero star I would! Place is empty, 3 people are working, came there with the child for the passport renewal! I need 3 appointments instead they booked only one, when we came they told that birth certificate is needed for the passports renewal for the children underage, like they could not say that before, so whole appointment was cancelled! Second time we came a little late they cancelled our appointment! I asked, why they couldn’t say from the beginning at the first time, that kids need to have birth certificate for passports renewal, the woman from the next cabin answered “everything is on the paper!” For both working parents it is hard enough to pick the kids from the school and find the time from work to make on time to the post office for the passport renewal, which is open 9pm-3pm in NY state! Instead it is a huge rudeness. Maybe they should extend their working hours, so they will not be so relaxed at the cashier!

They give you half hour appointments, but if your late by a few minutes they cancel the whole appointment meanwhile the entire half hour is yours. They refused to help me even after I explained I had everything set up, everything notarized, signed and ready. They were rude and obnoxious. Proceeded to tell me excuses why they couldn't see me only to fall on the fact that its my fault I was late. I said to them you're lucky my son is here or I would have asked for a manager and started a problem that's how disrespectful they were. I won't mention names as I dont like to single out one person. The establishment sucks as a whole. I know I'm just one person but I cant be the only one treated like this, my advice, treat people better and people won't hate the post office.
