  This review is for the Massapequa store at 4940 Merrick Rd. Let me tell you about this store...The only reason I sometimes use this place is for Amazon return drop-offs. It's convenient when I shop in the Plaza. I needed to buy a box to ship something, and the price was $10.49. Ok, thought it was expensive but after I paid for it, they said it was out of stock and refunded me. Then went to my usual UPS in Farmingdale and the same exact box was $4.95.... The counter person couldn't believe it until I showed her my receipts. She explained that UPS stores are independently owned without price regulations. She looked them up and noticed that their shipping rates were on average 15 - 20% higher than the Farmingdale store. So, as reviews say, they may be efficient ... but they are a total ripoff!!!

  Walked in today and Pat was by the door. Immediately greeted me and walked me to the counter where he took care of me. He answered all my questions and got me all squared away with my two packages extremely quick! He was courteous and knowledgable. I looked at his name tag and it said he was the manager, no surprise. Extremely satisfied with my experience there and this UPS Store will now be my go to! Thanks Pat!
