I approached the counter to return some simple Amazon purchases using QR codes. *** in the middle of the transaction***, the woman notices another customer approaching the counter with non-Amazon packages and leaves me standing there in the middle of the transaction to help that customer. I was stunned. She knew she had done wrong, because she looked back at me and said "sorry, just a minute". It wasn't a minute AND I realize that direct packages earn more revenue for the UPS store than Amazon returns - but that's not the way to treat any customer. By the time she came back to finish my return, she couldn't tell where she had left off in the computer. Wrong, just wrong. At the other UPS stores in the area, the staff just asks those waiting, to please wait and they will get to them in a moment. That's called customer service.
