Very confusing regarding passport applications. Schedule an appointment, walk in? Your guess as good as mine. No one knows when the passport guy is today. Today? They don't know. Tomorrow? They don't know. What they do know is the passport guy has a two hour lunch- from 12 to 2. You better get in before 11 or he won't start it and his lunch ends at 2. No applications are done after 2. Website says they do passport photos, but they don't. Stay away if you need a passport. Go somewhere else- except the Larchmont post office. No accountability at either location...

So incredibly unhelpful. Rude and obnoxious. Felt like I was disturbing them by not knowing everything about how the postal system works. On phones the whole time. Go to a different office.

Time after time I come here, and the service is absolutely terrible, I decided it was time to write a review. Every single time I have come to this post office the staff has been, impatient, rude, dismissive, and irritable. I went in to return a package and the overweight bigger man, did not even respond when I said hello, made no eye contact, barely acknowledged me and seemed irritated he had to do the job he is getting paid for. When he asked me “anything else?” I responded “yes can I just get a receipt please?” and he said “yeah wait it’s coming” in the rudest tone possible. And it’s not just this employee that acts this way, it’s almost every single employee I have interacted with throughout the years. I dread coming to this post office so I’ve been going to the Harrison post office, the parking sucks but at least the staff is kinder.

today i went to the post office, June 14th. the woman working was incredibly short, dismissive, & down right rude. perhaps she did not want to stop highlighting in her book to help me but she acted like working and dealing with a patron was disrupting her day. she spoke with little patience. it was the most disheartening experience i have had at this post office after living here since 2019.

Made a passport appointment for a child weeks in advance and get the confirmation. Take off of work to make it and we walk in only to find out the person who does passports at this location took the day off. Some type of advanced notice would have been helpful. Then to top it off, staff was pretty rude about it except for one man who tried to be helpful by giving ideas of alternative locations.
