- WHwilliam hedgesFeb 12, 20245.0I’ve lived here 2 years, so far 0 issues. This post office deserves a higher rating than they have. A lot of the negative reviews are people who are just mad about 1 single mistake. The mail is still delivered by human beings and occasionally they will make a mistake. One mistake out of thousands of correctly delivered items isn’t really a good reason to trash your local post office on google in my opinion. They have been nothing but kind, courteous, and helpful in my dealings with them.

From sheer sloth, to patent incompetence, the staff including "Manager Brian" will dismiss your reasonable queries with condescending insults. Maybe its the overall Town demeanor that is characteristically so un-American, and even inhumane! The employees here at this Lewsiton NY P.O. is what gives the overall nice USPS a horrible blemish. Where is Trump's promise to make America more efficient?
- JWJames WalshMay 4, 20151.0I was told by the office that for a one time package delivery, I wouldn't need to pay to rent a post office box monthly. That my package would come in and I could just pick it up. I did this once at this post office with no problem about 3 years ago and know a few others that have used this service. When I called back to see if a recently delivered package was there I was told abruptly that they would never do that and the package would be returned to sender. My loss. I guess they have different rules for different people at different times. This is very unfortunate and my business is suffering because of their miscommunications and inconsistency in business practices.
