    After being a loyal customer of this UPS Store in Latham, NY for over seven years, I am deeply disappointed with how my mailbox account was handled. On October 1st, I called to request mail forwarding, only to be told that my account “did not exist.” I was then instructed to provide two forms of ID, a new credit card authorization form, and to refill multiple documents just to reestablish my account — despite having successfully submitted similar paperwork less than six months prior. When I asked to speak with a manager, the General Manager offered no explanation for the loss of my seven-year account record. When I questioned their handling of customer information and service reliability, he abruptly hung up on me. Upon calling back, I was informed that the staff had been instructed not to speak with me or assist me further. I followed up by email, expressing my dissatisfaction and asking for clarification. The only response I received was a copy of my original mailbox agreement, highlighting their policy on abusive behavior to staff — apparently, the only documentation they still had on file. Later that same day, I received notice that my mailbox had been terminated, with the store blaming me for “abusive questioning,” even though I was simply seeking accountability for a paid service I’ve maintained at $248 per year. To make matters worse, the same day they canceled my box, they also sent a renewal reminder for my mailbox, which needed to be renewed prior to October 31st— adding confusion to frustration. I know the store owner personally and hope he reviews how his management is handling long-term customers. Previous reviews on their Google page show other issues with the general manager's inability to handle difficult situations professionally. I strongly encourage anyone who has experienced similar issues to share their experience as well. After seven years of loyalty, this was an incredibly disappointing and unprofessional way to be treated. I give this general manager at this UPS Store less than 1 Google star. ***Questioning a business as to why they lost customer information from an account that was established 7 years ago, is not defined as rude behavior; being rude but respectful is a given when you run your own business, you can expect that the customer may get rude if they are not receiving the treatment they receive for simple questions and expectations. Hanging up on and refusing to speak or work out the issues is unacceptable****
