There an employee, who’s name I didn’t catch unfortunately (long grey hair and a facial piercing) made disparaging racial comments in front of me and my young daughter. She said “If they can’t speak English they shouldn’t be here”. Lake placid is a tourist town that depends on tourism money as well as our foreign workers. What she said was completely vile, racist, and inappropriate.
