- GBGina BentonApr 9, 20241.0We had an issue with our mailbox being hit by the plow, it would only open about 5 inches, if I can get my hand in there to retrieve my mail, I would think the mail delivery person could get their hand in there far enough to put it in, but I guess that wasn’t the case, this person did not let us know that she was unable to deliver our mail in our mailbox, nor did she make an attempt at reaching us by knocking on the door,no note on the door no, no note in the mailbox, they just held our mail without saying a word for 3 weeks…:until we finally caught up with them to ask them why we haven’t received mail in three weeks , response was I don’t have time to inform you. I have mail to deliver……. isn’t it a federal offense to withhold mail from someone without notifying them first???

The amount of packages they have LOST or mis-delivered is unacceptable. And the ladies who work in the post office are not helpful, nor friendly. Just stand there chewing their gum loudly and say there's not much they can do.
