I’ve lived in the area all my life and this place is absolutely terrible.
I’ve been here countless times and the service is always so bad.
Always under staffed, the line is unorganized, it stinks, the staff are always so rude and half the time they don’t even acknowledge that you’re there.
Absolutely ridiculous how this many years has passed yet the service stays the same.
I’ve been there for everything under the sun and every single time it disappoints.
How do they manage to make such simple tasks so frustrating.
Shocking.

I was trying to ship out a package and the person helping me (Syed) Was rude and unhelpful he denied any service and did not want to tell me how I can post my package. Horrible service I went to another branch on Hollis and they did it for me and they were really nice about it

I find it appalling that my USPS package delivery person ALWAYS leaves my packages by the mailbox in a NYC Housing building lobby that they can clearly see is unsecured and can have packages stolen before a resident can even get a notification that the package is delivered. Anyone walking by or walking into the building can just take it. You guess need to do better and deliver package to residents apartment door and stop being lazy. If the shoe was on the other foot and it were your package being placed wherever out of laziness you’d be livid too especially during the holidays when theft is up. Ya’ll really need to do better and hire people capable of doing their jobs to the T.

This is actually ridiculous. My boyfriend ordered makeup for me for my birthday. He ordered it the day before my birthday and there way a delay on the 2nd. Okay cool. And no update since it is the 15th of December. I have NEVER had this happen with a package before.
It’s gotten to the point that the seller of my makeup has given me a full refund and I reordered it.
This is actually ridiculous. Shut the entire place down and start over because this? Absolutely not. Playing with people’s time and damn money.

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a post office. I came to this USPS location with several return packages, and from the beginning the service was completely inappropriate and unprofessional.
The clerk at the window showed impatience and refused to explain the process, even though it was clear that I do not fully speak English. I was denied the possibility of using a translator on my phone, which would have made communication easier and prevented confusion. Despite paying for additional mailing bags that I was instructed to buy, I was never given a receipt — something that should be basic in any transaction.
What disappointed me the most was that after waiting in line multiple times, the clerk closed the window right when it was finally my turn, without any valid reason. This gesture was disrespectful not only to me, but to everyone else waiting.
To make the situation worse, while trying to resolve my shipment on my own, I was subjected to offensive and discriminatory comments from other customers in line. No staff member intervened or made any effort to maintain a respectful or professional atmosphere.
Although I eventually completed my shipment, I left with a very negative impression. This location lacks empathy, patience, and professionalism — qualities that are essential when working with the public. I truly hope this situation is reviewed so other customers do not have to go through the same experience.
